1. Never fly those military flags or others above the American Flag
2. Never fly other flags on the right side of the American flag facing the audience
3. The American flag should never be smaller in size than any other flag flying together with it
4. On special days, the flag must be flown at half-staff, according to the�haff-staff calendar�or orders from the President or State Governors.

There are more rules to follow in the�US Flag Code, but above are the most important things to take note of.
